My name is Kevin , I'm 35 years old and I've been surfing since I was 23. When I was very young, I used to skateboard, and this passion has stayed with me throughout my life: it taught me freedom, movement and the passion for surfing. I come from the south of France, inland, far from the ocean. I mostly surfed during holidays abroad or during seasons on the coast. In 2020, I obtained my skate instructor diploma, and that's when I discovered how much I enjoyed sharing and teaching. In 2023, I launched Surf Explorer , a project that has taken on its full meaning over time. With Surf Explorer, I want to offer inclusive and authentic trips, far from mass tourism, discover off-the-beaten-track destinations around the world, and above all, for this project to resonate with those who have not had the opportunity to live on the coast and get closer to the ocean. Today, I live in Anglet , on the Basque coast, where the ocean and the energy of surfing punctuate my daily life. I created a year-round surfskate school there, a place to learn, progress and rediscover the sensations of surfing, even out of the water. What motivates me is seeing surfers progress, understand the ocean and ride the wave of their lives. And around this project, I feel it… the adventure is only just beginning.
